As we all know about Bhopal that what is the most famous thing about Bhopal is... yes the answer is lakes. There are in total fourteen lakes which currently occupy spaces in Bhopal and near Bhopal. One of the best-decorated lake is the lower lake which popularly known as the "Chhota Talaab" in the whole area Bhopal and the meaning of Chhota Talaab is the small lake. It is situated in old Bhopal near Jahangirabad. It covers an area of about ten squares of kilometers which makes this lake a medium-sized lake. This lake is fenced with the designing fencing and railings, the road which passes through the lake provides an extraordinary view to the passerby. In the summer season, the water present in the lake came to an extinction as the volume is not large because the maximum depth is 35 feet only, but on the other hand in the season of monsoon, this lower lake of Bhopal is about to overflow. In every monsoon, it touches almost the railing of the road which provides the visitors a thrilling experience as one can touch the level of water from the road. Boating facility has been provided by the local fisherman so visitors can reach the middle of the lake and can experience that feeling with grace. Fountains with back LED is set up by the government which gives a colorful view at night. The cool breeze at night provides an unexplained calm to the visitors when one take evening or night walk there. The very famous Kali temple is located just beside the lake. Many projects of Madhya Pradesh government is currently running to clean the water of the lake, now the water is crystal clear on observing from the boat. That kali Devi temple is gigantic and viewable. The lower lake is connected to the upper lake through a channel which is near Kamla park. Now the facility of motorboat and paddle boat is also provided for the visitors, one can enjoy boating with the open heart. the best view takes place in the evening when sun is about to set, as the lower lake is surrounded by many hills which provides the best scenery experience for the visitors. the channel which connects the lower lake to upper lake has an overbridge, on standing on the overbridge at evening it provides a silent experience to the guests and that place entertain the visitors with its beauty. the Kamla Nehru garden is well maintained and it is decorated with the best ever faunas. Many nature lovers and outing group enjoy here with full fun. The transportation facility is so good as this lake is situated in between the city. One who visits Bhopal should surely visit this lake. This place is like heaven for the photoholic people and photographers.
