It is the temple devoted to the Maa Durga. When the parts of Maa Durga fall on the earth that place becomes one of the shaktipeeth of Durga Maa. It is also known by its other name as Maa Durga Beejasan temple. The temple is too old, earlier the temple was not in a good condition but now major steps have been taken by the government of Madhya Pradesh and now this temple has become one of the largest temple present in central India. There are around a thousand stairs which are highly maintained by the salkanpur trust. Recently the facility of rope has been provided so that the senior citizens and children should not face any problem while reaching the destination. This temple is situated around two hundred fifty meters away from the base. The ropeway takes the devotees to the back entrance of the temple, the path of the ropeway is carried out on a lake which provides a panoramic view to the visitors from the rope cart. The place is full with peace and positive vibes and provides an unexplained silence to the devotees. Many of the visitors visit for the sightseeing and to worship Maa Durga. The road which takes the visitors from Bhopal is pretty curvy and it passes through a couple of forest and hills which gives the best ever viewing moments to the visitors. The fee of the ropeway is pretty less and anyone can afford that ropeway facility. The best time to visit here is in morning around 05:00 am to witness the best ever sunrise which comes from beside of the plane lands. Many devotees visit here at the time of morning aarti and take the blessings from Durga Maa. Near that hill, there are several restaurants which serves the best ever food, the most famous food item is daal baffle. One who visit there should definitely grab that meal, as they are so tasty there. A must visit place for all the age groped persons.
