Sadar Manjil



Bhopal is rich in its history and historic places. Yes, majorly known historic place which is abundant in history is Sadar Manzil. Sadar Manzil is situated near Nakkar Khana area, peer gate, Bhopal. This Sadar Manzil is a large building which is made for the large gathering at the town. It contains a series of large spaced rooms which is so big that many people can gather here without facing a single problem. This building is now known as the vintage building of the Bhopal and now it has been converted into the government office till the last couple of years. The building needs preservation and some specials steps to conserve the brightest history of Bhopal, the government of Madhya Pradesh is going to put forward some extra steps to conserve and renovate this Sadar Manzil. Earlier it was the place where the rulers of India or the state used to organize the most confidential meetings with there presidents and other important masters, but now the municipal corporation office takes over this building. This building has been constructed in the late 1890s but the royal family left Bhopal and this Sadar Manzil building after the partition of 1947 and after that this building left abandon for several years. Now the building is under maintenance and the government recently vacated that place to work for the betterment of that Sadar Manzil. It is the birthplace of Nawab Hamidullah Khan which is popularly known as the last ruler of Bhopal state which left Bhopal in the partition. It is the best example of the architecture from the Bhopal Nawabs as it is known as the finest building build under the rule of Nawabs. Earlier in the Urdu language, it was known as Deewan-e-aam, the place of meeting. The transportation facilities to the visitors are too good. Many professional historians and photographers used to visit here to collect the prints of history related to Bhopal Nawabs and to click the best ever images of the old monuments and statues. One can move there in any season or at any time. It is a must visit place for everyone who loves and want to know something cool about the royal nawabs, their lifestyle, and their living, and want to experience all of them with closeness.
