For the people who love trecking or like to visit on hill or upper place, this Manuabhan Tekri located in Bhopal is the perfect thing to visit for such people. It is located near the army area on a hilltop near Lalghati Bhopal, which is around 10 km far from Bhopal main station and airport. This Manuabhan Tekri is famous for its Jain temple, and another unique thing is that it is located on the second highest hill of the Bhopal, so the view from that hilltop is just beautiful. One can see half Bhopal from this hilltop. Many Jain devotees and other religion people visit here to attain the ultimate peace of mind, body, and soul, as Jain temples are popularly known for the silence which they provide to the visitors, another type of calmness and peacefulness. The whole temple is formed by the rocks and beautiful carvings carved on its pillars and walls too. Many beautiful statues made here which attracts the history lovers too. Some of them are related to many interesting stories. In this temple, the footwears of Maharaj Shri Vijay Suriji, Shri Jindutta Sureshwarji, and Acharya Manutung have been kept here so that the devotees can worship them and can take the blessings from there footwear. The gate which is named as Simha gate has some old manuscripts carved on it which gave the lessons to lead a peaceful and healthy life with the worship of Lord Mahaveer. This place is also related to the place where the Oswal dynasty used to concentrate their mind and used to practice how to keeps mind clean and concentrated. A big fare is also organized by the committee members on the occasion of Karthik Purnima every year. Many of the devotees visit here on this occasion to be an eyewitness of this large fare and the vast celebration of this festival. The views from this hilltop are just hilarious, earlier only the mud road is provided here to reach to the temple but now there is concrete road formed which allows many vehicles to reach up on the hill. The parking space on the top of the hill is pretty vast and good. Ropeway facility has also been started which helps many senior citizens to reach the temple without any problem. One can witness the very beautiful scenes from the inside of the ropeway cab as the base is made with the transparent glass which allows the travelers to see the bottom and provide them a thrilling experience to the visitors. It is a must visit place, this temple is open from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm all days, so anyone can hit a visit here during this time interval. One should carry about 2 hours to witness all the things including traveling from Bhopal station or from Raja Bhoj airport.
