Now, this is for the fun-loving and outing lovers. This spot is popularly known as Mahadev Paani which means the water of Shiv, Shiv is the god of gods in Hindu mythology. This spot is situated near Bhopal on the national highway 86 around 17 km from the main city Bhopal. This spot is the most famous spot for tourists as this contains a waterfall of about 70 feet deep and that fall is almost covered with the natural greenery floras. The water which falls in that Mahadev Paani waterfall is the water of the forest which collected at one place and then it turns into this beautiful waterfall. Many camping lovers used to camp here for two to three days as there is so much to do like trecking, mountaineering, etc. Many camps have been organized here by the schools or colleges to make their children relax for some days and to make their students refresh from nature power. This spot is totally covered with forest mountains and water, which provides an unexplained peace to the visitors. This spot is located five kilometers inside from the national highway so one should travel on the mud road to reach there. After travelling some distance with the vehicles stairs have been provided of stones to get to the lowest point of that waterfall, visitors have to travel around 70 feet deep with the stairs to reach the bottom end of the waterfall. The water which falls from that waterfall collects in the naturally made ponds so, many of the visitors use to take bath in that ponds as the water is purified by the natural process of filtration. One can drink that water too. Near that fall there are any small and medium-sized caves can be found where the Shivling has been installed so that the visitors can worship Lord Shiva. On the normal days the flow of water is minimal but in monsoon season the flow of water is so intense that one could get in trouble in that flow. The government of Madhya Pradesh is implementing some steps as now there is no heavy safety measures present there. The best time to visit here is the morning with picnic kits and foodstuffs, as that spot is only made for the picnic lovers. The best season to visit here is in monsoon to witness this waterfall with its full intensity, but in monsoon season the five-kilometer mud road can get the visitors into trouble as the road becomes slippery and slurry, and the intensity of water flow is also high so one should take all the precautions necessary to keep themselves safe and secure. The best place for picnic lovers to date. One should hit the visit of Mahadev Paani waterfall but with precautions as a precaution is far better than cure.
