Mythology, for some people in society mythology means a lot but for other people from the society that is just like stories. In Indian or Hindu mythology there are many gods and goddesses but the Devi Shakti or Durga is above all, she has one of the eight Devis which are mentioned in shakti, one of them is kali or Kankali Devi. A temple of Devi kankali is located near Bhopal around 15 km far from Bhopal station and around 25 km away from Raja Bhoj airport. This temple is popularly know the temple of Kankali which is situated in Raisen district around 7 km from The Bhopal - Raisen highway in the district of Gudaval. The unique thing about this place is the group of temples of many other Gods. Most of the visitors visit here to witness the moving neck of the statue of Devi Kankali, it has been observed the temple staff that on the vijaydashmi that is Dussera, the neck is straight but on the rest of the days of the year the neck is tilted towards the left from the observer side, so there are thousands of visitors visit here on Vijaydashmi here. A big fare is been organised by the committee on the days of Navratri and a big program has been organised on Dussera that is on the tenth day after Navratri starts. The devotees here tells the true stories about how devi takes them out from thousands of problems which was around them or around their family, after visiting here the devotees meets the absolute peace and silence. Earlier the temple was not that big but now a big and vast temple has been constructed by the funds which are been provided by the devotees there. A new website of this temple has also been launched earlier. The topmost part of the newly constructed temple is about 75 feet tall which attracts the devotees and visitors in a heavy number. The surroundings of the temple are covered by the vast forest and plain fields. The area is just beautiful which attracts nature lovers, all the age group people visit here to worship Kankali Devi for their peace and silence. The transport facility is good, cabs and other transport facilities like bus and rickshaws available here to reach the Bhopal station or airport. The new temple is constructed by the five crores of funds provided by the devotees. There are two aartis which happened in the morning and in the night. The best time to visit here is in the morning around 7 am to attend the first aarti and in the evening around 7 pm to attend the second aarti. But to worship Kankali Devi there is no time provided so, one can visit any time to witness the most beautiful statue of Devi Kankali.
